Regina Daniels breaks silence over marital crisis

Popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has dropped a clarification video amid her marital crisis. The mother of two, in a viral video on her Instagram page on Wednesday, addressed the public on the reason for creating the video, stating that “the video should not have existed.”

The actress, while addressing Ned Nwoko in the viral video, referred to him as “my ex-husband,” emphasizing that the only reason she doesn’t want to fight him is that “I love, care, and respect you.” She also added that she was protecting her children to ensure that they have a good father’s name; however, as it stands, “they can have my own name,” adding that “I’ll train them by myself with my own money.”

Speaking to the public, she clarified that, against what many believed, it was her own choice to marry Ned. “I fell in love,” she stated, explaining that her family, including her siblings and mother, opposed her decision. However, she was resolute, even threatening to harm herself if they didn’t let her marry Ned. Additionally, she mentioned that she went to the police, asking them to arrest her due to her family’s objections.

She urged the public to stop criticizing her mother, noting that while her mother did not support her marriage, she had no choice when Regina persisted. “I ask you all to stop attacking my mother. A mother wouldn’t marry off her daughter for money,” she asserted, highlighting her mother’s years of hard work for the family and asking for space, urging others to refrain from holding her responsible for her marital issues.

In the video caption, Regina questioned Ned about the location of her brother, Sammy, expressing frustration that a top police official claimed there was nothing he could do about Sammy’s arrest.

She made it clear that this conflict would be intense, describing it as “power for power, or aura for aura.” Regina also expressed that she does not regret marrying Ned, as she believes it was a necessary path for her, though not her ultimate goal.

In her viral video caption, Regina wrote:
“Finally, some people have a video that they can use, but that’s fine. Let them think they can mock me, as my focus right now is to find out where my brother is. WHERE IS SAMMY NED!!!

“Can you believe that one of the highest authorities in the police department claimed to be powerless?! It’s ridiculous! This fight is going to be about power or, rather, aura! It’s unfortunate.

“Just for the record, I have no regrets. I willingly made this choice, and while it’s a path I was meant to take, it’s not my final destination!!

“PS: I know I look a bit stressed and skinny, but I’m still kind of pretty. Life is meant to be experienced, and that’s what I’m doing.”
