Launched earlier in February 2026, Season 4 kicked off in Calabar (March 5–7) and moved to Jos (March 26–28), where over 1,300 athletes from 148 schools and teams competed at the New Jos Stadium.

The competition will culminate in a grand finale in Ibadan from April 15–18, 2026. Building Future Olympians from Grassroots Level. MTN Champs is more than just a school sports event, it serves as a proven talent pipeline for Nigerian athletics.
