Singer, Crayon lambasts Don Jazzy, MAVIN records over financial exploitation, death Of Mother

Nigerian artist Charles Chibueze Chukwu, popularly known as Crayon, has made serious allegations against music executive Don Jazzy and his label, MAVIN Records, accusing them of financial exploitation.

On Sunday, Crayon took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his grievances in several now-deleted posts, indicating that he is unhappy with the current situation. He criticized Jazzy and MAVIN for earning $200 million without compensating him, claiming that they consistently delayed his payments.

Moreover, Crayon alleged that MAVIN is indirectly responsible for his mother’s death and vowed to take action. Referring to Don Jazzy as “my boy,” he suggested that the label’s downfall is imminent.
