Samuel A. Perry, a popular Nigerian comedian and skitmaker, professionally known as Brodashaggi, has reportedly been hospitalized, owing to injuries sustained from a gunshot in the Sango-Ota area of Ota of Ogun state.

Reports making the rounds indicated that the shooting incident occurred while the skitmaker was filming with members of his crew at the Sango-Ota bridge on Sunday afternoon.
While the incident surrounding the gunshot have not been clear, the skitmaker was initially taken to receive treatment Blooming Care Hospital in the Alakuko area of Lagos State, before being transferred to Duchess Hospital in Ikeja.

Shedding light on the issue, Abimbola Adebisi, the Lagos State Police command spokesperson confirmed the hospital’s report of the issue, revealing that they swung into action immediately, before finding out that the personality in question was Brodashaggi.
“The hospital contacted the police to report that a gunshot victim had been brought to their facility. Detectives and a patrol team were immediately mobilised to the hospital, where they discovered that the victim was a skit maker and social media influencer popularly known as Broda Shaggy.”
Adebisi also clarified that due to the location of the incident being in the the Sango-Ota area of Ogun State, the command has little right over the case, however, investigations are being made.
“He was seen on a stretcher with an injury to his thigh. The location of the incident is in Sango-Ota and not within our jurisdiction, but the investigation is ongoing.
Omolola Odutola, the Ogun State Police command spokesperson, maintained that the force has not been officially informed of any case. “The incident was alleged to have occurred in Ogun State, but it was not reported.”
