Tinubu deserves commendation over economic reforms, Shettima says 

Vice-President Kashim Shettima has praised President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms, arguing that the administration should receive recognition instead of criticism for its efforts to reshape Nigeria’s economy.

Speaking at the Delta State Economic and Investment Summit in Asaba on Monday, Shettima noted that the reforms are showing promising results, particularly by attracting investments and enhancing the nation’s foreign reserves.

He pointed out the significant economic hurdles the current administration faced but highlighted the notable progress Nigeria has made under Tinubu’s leadership.

In a message directed at Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Shettima acknowledged his contributions to raising awareness about the nation’s economic situation, referring to the low reserves of $3 billion during tough times and contrasting it with the current foreign reserves of over $52 billion.
