Troops eliminate two bandits during ransom collection in Kaduna

Two alleged bandits were killed while they were attempting to collect ransom in Katambi Forest, situated in the Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

According to Kaduna Political Affairs report, This event took place on Saturday evening when security personnel tracked the suspects to their hideout amidst a planned exchange of food supplies for ransom.

Upon their arrival, the troops positioned themselves strategically and opened fire on the two bandits who approached to collect the items.

This led to a firefight between the operatives and other members of the group, with some reportedly fleeing with gunshot wounds.

During the operation, four kidnapped individuals, including a nursing mother and her four-year-old child, were rescued and subsequently reunited with their families.
