Former Big Brother Naija champion Phyna claimed bragging rights on Thursday night, securing a fourth-round technical knockout victory over Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing in their highly anticipated celebrity boxing match in Lagos.

The showdown took place at the Federal Palace Hotel as a marquee attraction of Balmoral’s “Chaos in the Ring” event, held as part of the Independence Day festivities.

Phyna dominated the exchanges before the referee stepped in during the fourth round to award her the TKO triumph. The decisive stoppage earned her the distinction of becoming the first woman to win a celebrity match in the history of the “Chaos in the Ring” franchise.

“After an incredible Independence Day celebration and chaos in the ring, we do have our winner for the first-ever female celebrity bout in the history of Chaos in the Ring,” the event organizers confirmed following the bout.

The ring showdown settled a bitter feud between the two entertainment personalities, who had traded barbs publicly before agreeing to resolve their differences inside the squared circle.
