Security operatives allegedly attempted to arrest Malam Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, upon his arrival at the airport on Thursday, according to his media adviser, Muyiwa Adekeye.
Adekeye stated that the incident occurred as El-Rufai was returning from a trip to Cairo.
