I pray daily for Nigeria, Ghana President John Mahama says

During the African Heritage Awards 2026, Mahama emphasized the significance of Nigeria’s stability for Ghana’s security, acknowledging the strong connection between the two nations.

He remarked, “Nigeria is crucial to our security interests. With a population of 250 million, it’s important for them to thrive to prevent a million of them from drifting toward a smaller nation like Ghana. This is why I consistently pray for Nigeria to find stability.”
