I’m waiting for FG’s approval to clear out criminals from south-west forests — Sunday Igboho

Yoruba nation activist Sunday Adeyemo, known as Sunday Igboho, stated that he is expecting approval from the Federal Government to initiate operations aimed at expelling terrorists and other criminals from forests in the South-West region.

He mentioned that his security group, Iru Ekun Security Network, is completely ready to commence operations as soon as they receive the necessary authorization. He confirmed that all required documentation for this approval has already been submitted to the Federal Government.

Igboho made this announcement in a statement on Monday, May 25, emphasizing that his organization is prepared to collaborate with security agencies to enhance safety in the area.

He also expressed his willingness to adhere to the Oyo State Government’s Executive Order regulating private security companies operating within the state.

He further mentioned that the group is ready to work alongside the police, DSS, Nigerian Army, NSCDC, and other security bodies to eliminate terrorists, kidnappers, bandits, and other criminals who threaten the peace and security of the community, particularly in rural areas.
