He explained that the first phase involves activating Ward Champions and Polling Unit Volunteers who will conduct door-to-door campaigns, voter education programmes, and Permanent Voter Card (PVC) sensitisation exercises.
“The goal is to bridge the gap between government programmes and the people at the grassroots by ensuring engagement reaches every polling unit,” he said.
The second phase will establish dedicated mobilisation platforms for youths and women, encouraging them to participate in advocacy campaigns, digital engagement, and community outreach while promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The third phase will focus on issue-based engagement by identifying the developmental priorities of individual communities and linking them to government policies and programmes.
THEDSF promises accountability and community development
Giwa said THEDSF distinguishes itself from other political support groups through its emphasis on coordination and accountability.
He noted that while many groups limit their activities to political rallies, THEDSF intends to serve as a communication bridge between residents of Epe Division and the Tinubu-Hamzat administration.

The group also plans to introduce a needs-mapping system that will document developmental priorities across communities and monitor government responses to those requests.
“Our responsibility is to ensure the people of Epe receive their fair share of development while keeping residents informed about government interventions,” he said.
Youths and women urged to participate
The THEDSF Director-General called on young people, women, and other stakeholders to actively participate in the organisation, describing it as an inclusive platform for community development and political engagement.
He said youths would be offered opportunities for leadership development, policy education, and grassroots mobilisation, while women would play key roles in shaping strategies and leading community-based initiatives.

Plans after the official launch
Following its official inauguration in July 2026, THEDSF plans to begin regular ward engagements across Epe Division, publish periodic activity reports, and establish a transparent feedback mechanism between residents and government officials.

Giwa added that the organisation aims to become a reliable channel for information sharing, community advocacy, and project monitoring while supporting the broader objectives of the Tinubu-Hamzat administration.
He concluded by urging residents to join the movement, expressing confidence that Epe Division could become a model for effective grassroots mobilisation and political participation ahead of the 2027 elections.
