James Adio, the former President of the FUOYE Students’ Union Government, stated that Tiwa Savage’s ability to overcome the ordeal of her leaked tape motivated him to persevere after his own explicit video was released online.
In an interview with Tiamiyu Adebayo TV, Adio expressed his determination to remain resilient despite the negative fallout. He acknowledged Tiwa Savage’s experience, saying, “I’m not even half of where she was, but she overcame. I have not come this far to give up.”

He mentioned that he only grasped the severity of the situation after checking his phone later and that support from former students and especially his mother helped him to keep pushing forward.
