Super Falcons player Asisat Oshoala and singer Burna Boy will headline the inaugural Crash Games World Championships, a 21-day competition offering nearly $100,000 in prizes to participants across Africa and Mexico.
The competition, launched by SportyBet on October 14, will feature six ambassador-led teams, with Oshoala and Burna Boy joined by American DJ Khaled, South African rugby star Cheslin Kolbe, former footballer Benni McCarthy and Ivorian footballer Yan Diomande.

According to the company, participants will compete for individual leaderboard positions while earning points for their selected ambassador teams through eligible cashouts in participating crash games.
Players will choose one of the six ambassadors before competing, and their selection will remain fixed throughout the championship.
The company said points would be calculated based on cashout multipliers rather than the amount wagered.
A successful 2x cashout, for instance, will earn 20 experience points, while a 10x cashout will earn 100 points before any applicable progression multiplier. Losing rounds will not attract points.
SportyBet said the competition would reward 5,000 players with cash, signed merchandise and free bets.

The overall winner will receive $5,000 in cash, a championship ring valued at $1,500 and a T-shirt signed by the six ambassadors.
The second- and third-placed participants will each receive $2,500 and signed merchandise, while those finishing fourth to 10th will receive $1,000 each and signed T-shirts.
Other prizes include signed T-shirts for players ranked 11th to 100th, free bets worth $50 for positions 101 to 500, $20 for positions 501 to 1,000, and $10 for positions 1,001 to 5,000.
DJ Khaled, Sporty Group’s global ambassador, said the competition would bring together players from the participating markets.
“This is big. Players across Africa and Mexico, six teams, 21 days, nearly $100,000 in prizes and only one champion,” he said.
He added that the championship ring would be reserved for the winner, saying, “You can’t buy it. You have to earn it.”

SportyBet said participants could join at any point during the 21-day period, but games played before joining would not count towards their scores.
At the end of the competition, the leaderboard will be frozen and results verified before winners are confirmed.
The company said winners’ identities would also be verified before prizes are released.
The competition is scheduled to run for 21 days from October 14, 2026, across participating SportyBet markets in Africa and Mexico.
