Clinton Andy Ezekiel (Bayelsa United – Goalkeeper)

The 19-year-old goalkeeper was outstanding in Ibadan as Bayelsa United stunned Shooting Stars with an away victory. Clinton denied the Oluyole Warriors multiple scoring chances, securing a clean sheet that proved decisive. Bayelsa United now host newly promoted Barau FC in Yenagoa, with Clinton expected to be a key figure again.

Micheal Atata (Ikorodu City – Goalkeeper)

Atata was the hero for Ikorodu City in Ilorin, pulling off several crucial saves in a goalless draw against Kwara United. His commanding presence between the sticks earned plaudits from fans and neutrals alike.

The Lagos-based side face El-Kanemi Warriors this Sunday, and Atata will be keen to build on his strong start.

Mafeng Pam (Plateau United – Midfielder)

Despite Plateau United’s 1-0 defeat to Wikki Tourists, midfielder Mafeng Pam stood out with his energy, ball control, and creativity in the middle of the park. With Katsina United visiting Jos on Sunday, Plateau United fans will be counting on Pam’s brilliance to spark a turnaround.

Ismail Ayodele (Shooting Stars – Winger)

Though Shooting Stars suffered a setback against Bayelsa United, Ayodele was a constant menace down the flanks. His pace, dribbling, and relentless pressure troubled the visitors’ defence all evening.

The Oluyole Warriors face Bendel Insurance in Benin this Sunday, and Ayodele will be looking to deliver another electrifying performance.

Chaka Coulibaly (Remo Stars – Midfielder)

Making his NPFL debut against Rivers United, the Malian midfielder impressed with his strength, composure, and intelligent passing. Coulibaly quickly adapted to the pace of Nigerian football, offering both defensive cover and attacking support.

Remo Stars face Kun Kalifah on Monday, and coach Ogunmodede will be expecting more dominance from his new signing.
