The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has declared that Nigerians should brace up for unprecedented transformation in Abuja by the time President Bola Tinubu marks his third anniversary in office.
Speaking on Tuesday during the commissioning of access roads in Sector Centre B, Dakibiyu District, Wike promised that the scope of projects to be unveiled next year will surpass anything ever witnessed in the FCT’s history.

“By next year, Mr President’s third year anniversary, Nigerians will see what they have never seen before,” Wike said. “I’m pleading with all Nigerians to be patient; we will get to the promised land through Mr President’s leadership a different narrative is already unfolding.”
The FCT Minister took a swipe at critics, insisting that even those opposed to Tinubu cannot deny the massive development currently taking shape in the capital city.

“Even if you hate Mr President, can you deceive yourself to say nothing is happening in the FCT? Certainly not. What we are witnessing here is the real dividend of democracy,” he added.
Wike reaffirmed his loyalty to President Tinubu, describing his decisions as guided by the desire to reposition Nigeria for progress.
He also revealed that after the current focus on infrastructure, attention will soon shift to improving the education sector, ensuring that critics are left with “nothing more to say.”
Wike commended his Minister of State, Mariya Mahmoud, and FCTA officials for their support, saying their teamwork has made the ongoing wave of project deliveries possible.
