According to Mr. Folorunso Aluko, the Director General of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), six additional governors are expected to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), which would boost the party’s influence from the current 24 states to at least 30 by the end of 2027, if all goes according to plan.
Aluko shared this information during the PGF Quarterly Strategy Meeting with Information Commissioners from APC-led states, held on Thursday in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, where he emphasized that the party is in a strong position to achieve its objectives.
