Hon. Olowa emphasised that the Social Register will serve as a vital tool for data-driven policymaking, social welfare planning, and other intervention programs designed to uplift residents.

“This initiative aligns perfectly with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Our goal is to ensure that Ibeju-Lekki plays a key role in supporting the President’s vision of lifting millions out of poverty through targeted social investments,” the Council Mayor stated.

The Chairman also reiterated his administration’s commitment to maintaining a transparent and fully digitised process from verification and approval to card issuance and disbursement.
He added that the Social Register would be periodically updated to accommodate new entrants as part of continuous efforts to empower residents toward financial independence.

The Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer initiative under the Hon. Olowa-led administration marks a significant step toward building a financially empowered and socially inclusive Ibeju-Lekki, in line with national development priorities.
