The Kaduna State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has warned the public and its members to be wary of individuals who are reportedly impersonating party leaders in the region.
The party refuted claims regarding the inauguration of state executives, labeling the event as unlawful and deceptive, and emphasized that the ADC leadership in Kaduna did not approve any such inauguration.

In a statement released on Saturday in Kaduna, ADC’s state Publicity Secretary, Alex Tagwai, stated that suggestions of a court empowering Tijani Ahmed to serve as the party’s chairman in the state are unfounded.
“To clarify, the erroneous and malicious rumors that a court has granted Tijani Ahmed the right to act as chairman of the party in Kaduna State are completely false,” Tagwai remarked.
The party also called into question the validity of Ahmed’s leadership claim, highlighting that he is not recognized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) or the ADC national secretariat.
Tagwai urged Ahmed to provide any legal documentation that permits him to hold the position of state chairman, should such authorization exist.
