The successful applicant will be proficient in accounting software like QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero and will manage accounts payable and receivable while ensuring full compliance with Nigerian tax laws.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports. Perform regular bank reconciliations to monitor cash positions accurately. Process payroll and handle statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, Pension) with precision.
Ensure complete compliance with all Nigerian tax regulations and meet filing deadlines. Manage accounts payable and receivable to optimize working capital and ensure smooth business operations.

Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) to streamline financial processes. Use advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and financial modeling.
Generate timely and accurate financial reports to support management’s strategic decision-making.
Identify and resolve any accounting discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications and Skills
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 2-3 years of proven experience in an accounting role.
High proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and financial functions.
In-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP). Ability to work independently and meet tight monthly deadlines.
