The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience and a strong ability to resolve billing discrepancies, manage payment disputes, and implement strategies to reduce outstanding receivables and optimize cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the entire billing process for patients, corporate clients, and Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs). Develop and lead initiatives to recover outstanding debts and improve cash flow.
Maintain accurate records of all receivables and provide regular reports on recovery progress. Assist the Finance Manager in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Perform complex bank, creditor, and debtor reconciliations to ensure balance sheet accuracy. Prepare and provide all necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
Monitor company expenditures and contribute to the budget preparation process. Help with payroll verification and supervise billing and cashiering staff.
Utilize expertise in healthcare accounting and medical billing systems to resolve payment issues promptly.
Qualifications and Skills
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of three years of accounting experience.
Previous experience in a healthcare, clinic, or diagnostic center setting is highly advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis. Familiarity with medical billing software is required.

Professional accounting certifications such as ICAN or ACCA are a significant plus. A high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage debt recovery and resolve billing discrepancies. Strong customer service skills to address patient billing inquiries professionally.
