A statement from Moroccan officials confirmed the initiative: “Morocco has introduced free electronic visas to facilitate the movement of supporters wishing to cheer for their teams during the Africa Cup of Nations, which the Kingdom will host.”

To gain entry into Morocco and access the stadiums, fans must apply for both the e-visa and a Fan ID. The local committee clarified that both can be requested directly through the Yalla app or its official website.

The decision has been met with widespread approval from football and travel communities, who have praised Morocco’s commitment to hosting an accessible, fan-focused tournament.

The free e-visa policy is expected to significantly increase attendance and enhance the overall experience of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations.

By implementing this measure, Morocco is reinforcing its reputation as a welcoming host nation and signalling its dedication to delivering a seamless and memorable championship for fans across Africa.
