Less than 24 hours later, a tragic assault occurred at a Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) branch in Kwara State, where assailants killed three people and abducted several others, including the pastor.

Expressing his deep concern over the country’s security situation, Davido shared a heartfelt message addressing both tragedies.

“My heart goes out to the young girls kidnapped in Kebbi and their families. No family deserves this pain,” he stated, emphasizing the need for national unity.

“As Nigerians, we must stand together… and continue working towards a country where every child can grow up in safety and hope.”

The artist also condemned the violence in Kwara, saying, “I am deeply saddened by the tragic attack on the church. I pray for the families who lost loved ones and everyone affected by this heartbreaking incident.”

Davido urged that such violence should not be normalized and called for decisive action. “These acts of violence must never become our norm. Everything must be done to bring the girls home safely,” he added.

He also encouraged the public to assist the rescue efforts, asking “anyone with credible information to come forward in whatever safe and responsible way they can.”
