After 7 months, Lagos Govt unveils supervisors and special advisers for 57 LGAs and LCDAs

The Lagos State Government has officially announced the appointment of Secretaries to Local Governments, Supervisors, and Special Advisers across the 57 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the state.

The development comes seven months after the swearing-in of the 57 council chairmen on July 27, 2025.

According to a senior state official familiar with the process: β€œThis completes the executive structure at the local government level and positions the councils to deliver more effectively on their mandates.”

The appointments are expected to enhance governance, improve policy coordination, and accelerate service delivery in communities across Lagos.
