APC capable of leading Nigeria for century, says Party leader Muhammad Gadaka

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has asserted its ability to govern Nigeria for more than 100 years, provided there is strong leadership and consistent policy direction.

Muhammad Gadaka, the Yobe State Chairman of the APC, made this assertion on Thursday during the Yobe Leadership and Innovation Summit 2026 in Damaturu.

Represented by the State Party Youth Leader, Muhammad Musa Gulani, Gadaka expressed optimism regarding Nigeria’s future under the APC, stating that the party possesses the necessary structure and vision to maintain power at the federal, state, and local levels for over a century.

He emphasized that the party’s long-term goals are centered around policies and programs aimed at enhancing the lives of Nigerians and improving governance throughout the country.

“Our party’s vision is focused on uplifting Nigerians and making Nigeria a great nation. We intend to continue forming governments at all levels for over 100 years,” he declared.

Gadaka also mentioned that the APC is assessing its accomplishments and refining its strategies for greater impact, urging citizens to stay confident in the party’s leadership, while noting that current economic reforms will ultimately be beneficial.

Earlier, the summit’s Chief Convener, Faruk Abdullahi Chiromari, highlighted the event’s purpose of celebrating the achievements of Mai Mala Buni, whom he credited with increasing opportunities for youth involvement in governance in Yobe State.

He noted that numerous young individuals have been appointed to significant positions such as commissioners, special advisers, and local government officials, showcasing the governor’s commitment to youth participation in governance.
