This development coincides with a separate price adjustment by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).

The state-owned oil firm recently increased its petrol pump price by N20, bringing it to N1,270 per litre in Abuja and surrounding areas.

Consequently, consumers in the capital are now purchasing petrol at prices ranging from N1,230 to N1,299 per litre at various retail outlets.

The NNPCL’s price hike occurred despite the falling price of crude oil on the international market and Dangote’s ongoing free delivery program.
