The organisers of the Dynasty Scouting League (DSL) have promised another season of opportunity and discovery as the Winter Edition 2025 kicks off on September 4 in Ijebu Ode, featuring 13 teams across 13 weeks of action.
Speaking at a pre-tournament press conference, DSL co-founder Godwin Nse reflected on the rapid rise of the competition and reaffirmed its mission to nurture grassroots talent rather than chase commercial gains.

He added, “The whole idea is for players to come out and showcase their talent for top European scouts and clubs. This is not a money-spinning event. It is about growth and opportunity.”
Dynasty Scouting League Fast-Growing Youth Platform
Since its launch in 2023, the DSL has quickly become one of Nigeria’s most consistent youth football platforms, staging both summer and winter editions annually. In just over two years, the league has completed five seasons, producing talents who have already secured contracts abroad.
Notable exports include: Ali Chinonso (JS Omranie, Tunisia), Ambrose Ochigbo (Al Khor SC, Qatar), Hassan Jamiu (Mtarfa FC, Malta) and Samson Nwulu (Partizan Belgrade, Serbia)
Global Visibility
The upcoming winter edition will see 78 matches live-streamed worldwide, giving scouts and agents direct access to Nigeria’s next generation of football talent.
Nse noted that this level of visibility has been crucial in building the DSL’s credibility with international clubs.
“With every edition, the opportunities grow bigger for these players,” he added.
