Former Lekki LCDA Works Supervisor Reportedly Kidnapped in Ijebu-Ode, NYCN Demands Urgent Rescue

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lekki LCDA branch, has condemned the alleged kidnapping of Hon. Amele Enoch, the immediate past Supervisor for Works, who was reportedly abducted at his farm in Oke Eri, near Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

According to early reports by Ijebu Rewa, Enoch was seized on Sunday while working on his farmland. His vehicle was found abandoned at the scene, heightening fears about the circumstances of his disappearance.

Youth Council Calls for Swift Government Response

Expressing shock and concern, the NYCN urged security agencies to intensify efforts to locate and rescue the former council official.

In the statement, the group said, “We urge the authorities to take swift action to rescue Hon. Enoch and bring the perpetrators to justice. Our thoughts are with Hon. Enoch’s family during this trying time.”
