“No Celebration — We Needed This Win,” Says Solaty Fatimah
Speaking after the match, Fatimah explained why she remained calm after scoring: “It was an equalising goal, so no celebration. I told my team we could do better because we needed this first three points to boost our confidence. This will determine our next plan for the season.”

The captain acknowledged that the team’s next fixture will be a big test:“We’ll be facing an experienced team next, but we can do it against them.”
Solaty Reflects on Injury Comeback
After dealing with a long-term injury last season, Fatimah opened up about her journey back to the pitch: “I’m happy for myself and my team. After a long-season injury, it’s not easy to come back and start scoring. I’m not fully there yet, but I’m recovering gradually.”

She also described the emotional challenge of watching the team play without her: “It was frustrating sitting outside and watching my team, not being able to play. But I had to support and encourage them from the sidelines because we are one big team.”
Dannaz Ladies will host Nasarawa Amazons on matchday two of Nigeria Women Football League at the Mobolaji jhonson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.
