The initiative, which forms part of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aims to enhance human capital development and deliver direct economic support to vulnerable households across the local government area.

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Hon. Olowa reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to implementing people-centred programs that uplift residents and promote inclusive growth.

“This exercise is designed to ensure that the dividends of democracy reach those who need them most,” he said.
He added, “We are determined to empower our people and improve the quality of life in Ibeju-Lekki through targeted social interventions.”
The CCT program provides financial assistance to low-income families to help ease economic hardship and strengthen household resilience.

The registration exercise commenced at the Ibeju-Lekki Council Secretariat and will continue across wards in the coming days, starting with Ward A (Ibeju 1).
