The pressure from Ikorodu City persisted after the break, and L. Degogo doubled the lead in the 60th minute, sealing all three points for the Lagos-based side.

Unbeaten Home Record Intact

Playing at the Onikan Stadium, Ikorodu City have turned their home turf into a fortress. The team remains unbeaten at home since September 28, showcasing remarkable consistency in front of their supporters.

During this unbeaten stretch, the club has recorded three home victories, one home draw, and two away draws, accumulating 12 points from a possible 18. Their strong form has now placed them in serious contention for continental qualification.

Continental Ambition Growing

With their latest win, Ikorodu City have established themselves as one of the most consistent and exciting teams in this NPFL season. Head coach and players alike have emphasised their determination to maintain momentum as the league progresses.

The Lagos side, who were promoted only last season, have quickly gained a reputation for dynamic attacking football, disciplined defending, and strong teamwork traits that have earned them admiration from fans and pundits alike.

If their current form continues, the “Oga Boys” could be on course to secure a continental spot, marking a major milestone in the club’s young history.
