He expressed concerns that attempts to combat armed groups in rural areas will not succeed unless those allegedly supporting terrorism politically are identified and held accountable.

He emphasized that Nigeria’s security challenges cannot be fully resolved without addressing the political backing of these armed groups.

Ezra highlighted the necessity of political accountability for achieving long-lasting peace.

He also pointed out that Nigeria is willing to collaborate with the United States on security matters, as long as its sovereignty is honored.

He mentioned past U.S. airstrikes against ISIS-linked factions in Nigeria, stating that the mixed results indicate a need for more effective and comprehensive actions to eradicate terrorism.

In addition to security issues, Ezra plans to discuss preparations for the 2027 general elections during the meeting.

He aims to persuade President Trump to encourage Nigeria’s government, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security forces, and election experts to work together to ensure that the elections are conducted transparently, fairly, and without violence.

Ezra described electoral malpractice as another significant problem facing Nigeria, asserting that credible elections are vital for good governance, stability, and national progress.

He currently holds several leadership roles, including Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Comrades and Students (NANCES) in Kaduna State, Secretary-General of the Northern Youth Movement for Equity and Fairness (NYMEF), and Acting Leader of ZACKOF Global.
