Kwara United FC sets to sign 10 new players ahead of 2026/27 season

The Kwara United football club’s Technical Adviser, Ashifat Suleiman, has disclosed that the team will sign 10 new players ahead of the upcoming 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

Suleiman reaffirmed that 20 players featured in the 2025/26 campaign have been retained from the squad.

He pleaded with the club’s supporters, fans and stakeholders to be patient with the technical crew regarding the release of the list of retained and departing players.

“I want to implore our supporters, fans and stakeholders to be patient with the technical crew in revealing retained and outgoing players,” he told the club’s media.

He noted that revealing those leaving may affect their chances of pursuing opportunities elsewhere, as the retained players will be unveiled at the appropriate time.”

He added that Kwara United will resume pre-season training for the 2026/27 campaign on Monday as preparations continue for the new season.
