This development was communicated in an official circular dated July 31, 2025, bearing reference number MLG/LGA/C.27/S./VOL.XIV/496, and signed by Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development.

The directive aligns with the instructions of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, which were delivered during the recent swearing-in ceremony of the council executives.
