Travel blogger Tom, known as TravelTomTom, shared his thoughts on the pricing at what he referred to as one of the priciest restaurants in Lagos, comparing the costs of food and drinks to those in Miami, Dubai, and Los Angeles.
Tom remarked, “You’ll be shocked by the price I paid for this smoothie bowl at the most expensive restaurant in Lagos. It cost $22, and honestly, it’s quite small.”

He then displayed the menu, noting that pomegranate juice is priced at ₦25,000, which translates to around $20 for a juice.
Commenting on the high prices, he quipped, “This seems to be a place where embassy staff might come to spend tax dollars.”
He also mentioned a breakfast option priced at $30, or 39,000 naira, and highlighted the cost of avocado on toast, which is also $30.

Tom expressed his surprise, stating, “I think that’s pricier than in Miami, Dubai, or LA. This is Lagos, Nigeria, folks.”
Describing the restaurant’s atmosphere, he noted, “It’s a beautiful place with a luxurious, Dubai-like vibe,” but he raised concerns about the unbalanced pricing compared to local wages.
Regarding the acai bowl, he added, “It’s decent but not exceptional. There’s just a small amount of banana, and the granola tastes like something from the supermarket. Honestly, it’s not worth $22.”
