According to CP Jimoh, the Command has credible intelligence linking Sowore and his associates to plans aimed at disrupting public peace through coordinated demonstrations at key locations in Lagos.

“Sowore should surrender at the nearest police station or face arrest wherever he is found,” the Police Commissioner said.

“Anyone attempting to cause disturbance or block our roads will face the full weight of the law.”

He revealed that security agencies were already tracking those involved, noting that planned protest sites include Third Mainland Bridge, Lekki Tollgate, and Freedom Park.

The Police boss reiterated that while citizens have the right to peaceful protest, such rights must not infringe on public safety, free movement, or other citizens’ rights.

Sowore, a former presidential candidate and publisher of Sahara Reporters, has not yet responded to the declaration.
