The Managing Director and the Chief Executive Officer of Lift Above Poverty Organization (LAPO), Dr Godwin Ehigiamusoe PhD, has lauded the organisers of the annual Sportsville Special Recognition Awards, describing it as a great initiative that will have positive effect on Nigeria’s sports ecosystem.

The soft spoken business mogul went on to advise young entrepreneurs to take time to build their brands and be different.

“Building brands takes perseverance but it pays off at the end of the day. So take your time to build this great initiative of celebrating sports men and women, the pay day is ahead,” the Edo State born entrepreneur and philanthropist, who also runs the biggest medical facility in Benin City, the Benin Medical Complex, advised.

Dr Ehigiamusoe has also promised to attend this year’s ceremony coming up on Friday, April 3rd at the Lagos Country Club, GRA, Lagos under the Chairmanship of Dr Larry Izamoje.
