Lekki LCDA Chairman Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali compensates retired staff and families of deceased workers

The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has compensated retired staff and families of deceased workers of the council in a gesture aimed at recognising years of dedicated service and supporting those left behind.

The programme, held on January 13, 2026, at the Secretariat Hall, Lekki LCDA, brought together retirees, beneficiaries’ families, and council officials.

Speaking at the event, Engr. Kasali expressed deep appreciation to the retired staff for their years of selfless service to Lekki LCDA and Lagos State, describing the compensation exercise as part of his administration’s unwavering commitment to staff welfare.

According to the chairman, caring for workers does not end at retirement, stressing that the council also has a moral responsibility to support the families of staff members who passed away while in service.

“This initiative reflects our faithfulness to staff welfare and our support for families left behind. Those who served this council diligently deserve to be treated with dignity, both during service and after retirement,” Kasali said.
