“This budget is a reaffirmation of our resolve to deliver inclusive prosperity and sustainable development to every resident of Lekki LCDA,” the Chairman said.

“We remain committed to prudent governance and impactful service delivery.”

Kasali expressed gratitude to Almighty God for the opportunity to serve and acknowledged the continuous support of Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his Deputy, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, whose leadership, he noted, has enabled several development interventions within the LCDA.

Highlighting the administration’s performance, the Chairman disclosed that over 100 percent of planned projects have been successfully executed.

According to him, these achievements cut across critical sectors, including major road construction and rehabilitation, development of new classroom blocks, upgrades of Primary Healthcare Centres, sports development initiatives, educational support programmes, skills acquisition schemes, and youth and women empowerment programmes.

The ₦14.7 billion budget, themed “Catalyst for Change Towards the Renewed Hope Agenda, prioritises strategic investments in key sectors such as General Public Services, Public Order and Safety, Economic Development, Environmental Management, Health, Education, and Social Protection.

Kasali emphasised that the successful implementation of the 2026 fiscal plan would be driven by strict financial discipline, transparency, and the prudent utilisation of funds from Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), statutory allocations, and development grants.

He also assured residents of regular public briefings to promote accountability and strengthen public trust.

Responding on behalf of the Legislative Arm, the Leader of the House, Hon. Musediku Monsuru Ola, commended the Chairman for what he described as remarkable achievements in infrastructure development, healthcare delivery, education, security, and environmental sanitation.

“The Legislative Arm acknowledges the administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and equitable service delivery across Lekki LCDA,” Hon. Monsuru said.

He further pledged the full cooperation of the councillors, assuring that the budget proposal would receive accelerated legislative consideration and timely passage to ensure residents begin to benefit from the provisions of the 2026 fiscal plan without delay.
