“There was an agreement in place that allowed Lookman to move to a big team outside Serie A,” Percassi confirmed, effectively ruling out a domestic transfer to Inter.
Lookman’s unsanctioned absence from training has left the club hierarchy considering disciplinary measures. Reports in Italy suggest the forward will now await official sanctions from Atalanta.
Meanwhile,Ivan Juric’s side begin their Serie A campaign on Sunday evening when newly-promoted Pisa visit Bergamo.
