Saha identified Lookman’s time in Italy as the pivotal moment in his career, suggesting that newfound confidence and consistency unlocked his true potential.
“Things were not going well for Ademola Lookman in the Premier League, but as soon as he went to Italy things started to gel,” Saha told BetVictor.
The former French international is confident that the allure of English football remains strong for the winger.
“The Premier League is still the biggest attraction, and I’m sure that he would love to come back, maybe to one of the top four,” he added.

Saha also praised Lookman’s significant development, noting he is now a much more complete player than the one who previously played in England.
“He is a really unpredictable player, very strong and very aggressive. Tactically now, going from Atalanta to working under Diego Simeone, he has shown he’s very reliable, strong at both ends of the pitch,” Saha concluded.
