The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) has stated that there are currently no reported cases of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Nigeria. This announcement comes in response to growing concerns over suspected cases.
Dr. Jide Idris, the Director-General of the NCDC, reported that two individuals previously identified as suspected cases have tested negative for the virus. He urged the public to stay calm and refrain from sharing unverified information, emphasizing the importance of relying on updates from reputable health organizations.

Health officials at the Abuja facility, where the latest suspected case was isolated, confirmed that a swift and organized response has been implemented.
