Adesina emphasized that this initiative demonstrates the administration’s dedication to enhancing infrastructure, improving transportation, and addressing the current poor conditions of several major roads to alleviate the strain on commuters.
He noted that the Abiodun-led administration is focusing on both urban and rural road projects as a means of supporting local businesses, facilitating community connections, and promoting economic development throughout the state.
The governor aide said; “We will ensure that all parts of the state’s roads are touched by the road maintenance gang as the present administration is determined to make road networks across Ogun State accessible and durable.
“The exercise is not just about patching roads; it is about making life easier for our people and supporting commerce. Better roads will translate into reduced travel time, safer journeys, and stronger economic activities for our communities”, Adesina added.
Residents expressed their support for the initiative, hopeful that the road maintenance project will significantly enhance accessibility and aid in local economic growth once completed.
