The Media and APC Youths Alliance, in collaboration with the Aljannare Development Association has successfully concluded an online Permanent Voter Card (PVC) registration drive across Aljannare town and its surroundings. The initiative, designed to empower young people and boost their political participation, has already seen more than 2,100 youths register for their PVCs. This is a clear sign of growing high engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to Comrade Bello Aljannare, the Secretary of the Aljannare Development Association said that the initiative aimed at creating opportunities, employment, empowerment, and vocational skills for the self-reliance of youths.
“We shall continue to enlighten youth about the importance of possessing PVCs for the re-election of APC in 2027. We want the progress of the APC administration across both the Federal, State, and Local Government levels.”
“Our key priority is to move across villages to hear about their concerns, unfinished projects and unfulfilled promises with the aim of forwarding them to the appropriate authorities,” Bello boosted for a change to empower youth.
Comr. Bello further explained that the week-long exercise covered four areas in Aljannare; Kofar Fada, Kofar Fana, Kofar Dan Kaoje, Gamji, and Runtuwa (home of the Fulani community) with four groups of phone users and female mobilizers working tirelessly.
He reported that within one week, the team was able to register about 2,154 people. Subsequently, 2,127 people were successfully approved, while only 27 are still pending approval. Also fresh Figures for the PVC registration drive robust participation across four groups which includes the followings;
Group one recorded 674 registrations, with 663 already approved and 11 applications still pending; Group Two had 302 youths sign up, 300 have been approved while five await processing; Group Three saw 459 registrations, with 454 approvals and four pending; and finally Group Four which posted the latest turnout, had about 716 registration, 710 approved and six applications yet to be cleared.
Speaking further, Bello extended sincere gratitude to the executive and members of the movement for making the exercises possible, as well as key supporters such as the Aljannare Development Association, Chairman Alhaji Murtala Shitu, Youth Leader Hon. Mustapha Tela, and others who provide financial support and advice.
He also expressed appreciation to Hon. Faruk Mai Sudan, House member Suru LG, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Na Engla Bulacan Gwandu, and Special Adviser on Orientation and Enlightenment Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar Jombali for their elderly advice.
