Senate President Godswill Akpabio has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his remarkable achievements, stating he’s never seen a Nigerian leader launch so many projects within just two years of taking office.
While attending the unveiling of the Old Keffi Road, Akpabio mentioned the recent opening of Gaduwa Road in the FCT and highlighted projects in Nasarawa State.

He noted the excitement of local residents, who “came out… filled with joy and disbelief.” He pointed out that as one project was unveiled in Nasarawa, another significant road project from Akwanga to Jos in Plateau State was also being initiated.
Expressing his admiration for the President’s accomplishments, Akpabio emphasized, “This president is working miracles. This president is working miracles.”

He urged Nigerians to make performance the basis for future elections, saying, “We must now bring up a standard for elections that says, ‘Show me your works and I will vote for you.’”
The Senate President also criticised politicians who, according to him, have spent “over 25 years” in government but “cannot boast of anything,” while commending Tinubu’s track record from his time as Lagos governor.
According to Akpabio, Tinubu has remained “the same person, thinking, planning, and working, and bringing out results,” adding that he was proud to represent the President at the commissioning of the Old Keffi Road.
