Rhodes-Vivour recognized the influence of Peter Obi’s popularity during the 2023 general elections but asserted that his political movement has now developed into a distinct force that can successfully compete for the governorship under the ADC platform.
He pointed out that his frequent visits to communities affected by demolitions and other government actions have helped build trust in his leadership, as he has consistently engaged with residents and offered alternative solutions to their issues.
The former Labour Party candidate addressed rumors of a rift between him and Obi, calling the former presidential candidate “a fantastic candidate,” and affirmed that their relationship remains friendly, even though they belong to different political parties.
