The Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (RBK) has completed the installation of 25 solar-powered boreholes in various communities across the council area, aimed at boosting access to clean and safe water.

The projects are located in Ebute Lekki, Lekki, Oshoroko, Origanringan, Okunraye, Magbon Segun, Itoke, Lege, Tiye, Imobido, Apakin, Oriyanrin, Otolu 1, Otolu 2, Okegelu, Lepia, Ikegun, Ise, Obada, and Imoba Oke.

According to the Chairman, the initiative directly responds to community requests and reflects his administration’s commitment to meeting the pressing needs of residents.

“Access to clean water is a fundamental necessity, and with solar power, these boreholes are not only functional but sustainable for the long term. This is about making life easier and healthier for the good people of Lekki LCDA,” RBK noted.
