This request was made during his meeting at the State House on July 7 with members of the Nigerian Diaspora Medical Associations, led by the Director-General of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

Speaking to the health workers, the President shared his own journey of returning to Nigeria after studying and working in the United States, stating, “I understand that experience. I’ve been abroad, but there’s no place like home. Having worked in America, especially in accountancy and finance, I cherish my time in Chicago’s Standard Oil Building. Yet, since coming back from Mobil, facing the challenges of transforming Nigeria has been a rewarding endeavor.”
