Dino Sporting Club recorded consecutive wins in the TCC League for the first time this season with a 4-2 triumph over defending champions Real Sapphire on Sunday.
The “Lion Boys” came into the match buoyed by an away win against Imperial FA and climbed to fourth place in the table with this latest result.

Dino made a blistering start, taking the lead after just five minutes through a composed finish from Samuel Obudu. The forward struck again shortly before half-time to double the advantage, but Real Sapphire pulled one back from the penalty spot to narrow the deficit going into the break.

Early in the second half, Dino were awarded a penalty of their own, which Obudu converted to complete his hat-trick. Although Real Sapphire managed to score again, substitute Henry Ikechukwu sealed the win with a superb header to make it 4-2.
The result ended Real Sapphire’s unbeaten run in the league, while Dino’s tally of 11 home goals is now the highest of any side this season.
