“As we celebrate Christmas, I want to send my warm wishes to every family across Lagos and beyond,” Sanwo-Olu said. “This season is a time to reflect and appreciate how far we have come together as a people.”
Acknowledging the economic and social difficulties experienced over the year, the governor praised Lagosians for their perseverance and collective spirit, which he said continues to strengthen the state.
“Despite the challenges of the year, our resilience and sense of community have remained strong, and that gives us hope for the future,” he stated.

Sanwo-Olu also offered prayers for peace and joy in homes across the state, while expressing gratitude to residents for their support of his administration’s vision for Lagos.
“I pray that this Christmas brings peace to your homes and joy to your hearts. Thank you for your continued support and belief in a greater Lagos,” the governor added.
He concluded the message by wishing all Lagosians a joyful Christmas celebration, encouraging them to uphold the values of love, kindness, and togetherness that define the season.
