The summit includes Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, who is hosting the event, alongside his counterparts: Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo, and Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti.

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke is being represented at the meeting by his deputy, Kola Adeusi.

The primary agenda for the gathering is to conduct a comprehensive review of the security landscape across the South-West and strategize on collaborative solutions.

Dr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the Special Adviser on Media to Governor Makinde, confirmed the meeting to reporters on Monday afternoon. In a brief telephone conversation, he verified the attendance of the state leaders.

“The meeting has started,” Olanrewaju stated. “All the governors are present, except Governor Adeleke, who was represented by his deputy.”
